In Stillness, Culture Breathes — A Co-creation Story from Kanazawa
In Kanazawa—where silent gardens and stone lanes hold time—fifteen master artisans trained at Kanazawa College of Art gather across lacquer, metal, ceramics, textiles and more. They place heritage in dialogue with new materials, with each other, and with you. Clay is heard, gold leaf captures light, urushi mirrors the present.
Every commission starts with a question and ends with a one-of-a-kind answer shaped together by client and maker.
静かな庭園と石畳が時を宿す金沢。漆芸・金工・陶芸・染織など十五の作家が金沢美術工芸大学で磨いた技を携え、伝統を素材・人・依頼主と対話させ進化させます。粘土の声に耳を澄まし、金箔は光をとらえ、漆は今を映す。
依頼は一つの問いから始まり、完成した作品は依頼主と作り手が共に導き出した唯一の答えとなります。
