Born in Aichi in 1994.

After completing an M.A. in Sculpture at Kanazawa College of Art, he served as an assistant in the Sculpture course and now works there as a technical specialist. His stone works imagine ties between Earth’s deep history and everyday life. Guided by the idea that “life itself sculpts the Earth,” he preserves traces of his own daily existence in stone. To expand the possibilities of stone sculpture, he also produces participatory works, including “art truck” exhibitions.

1994年愛知県生まれ。金沢美術工芸大学大学院彫刻専攻を修了後、同大学の彫刻専攻助手を務め、現在は同大学の技術専門員を務める。
地球史と日常生活との繋がりを想像した石彫作品を制作。「生活が地球を彫刻する」という考えをもとに、私が地球に刻んだ生活の痕跡を石に留める。また石彫刻の可能性を広げるため、アートトラック展示などの参加型の石彫作品を制作。

Specialized Techniques
–得意な技法

・Skilled in realistically carving stone based on motifs (replica carving). Currently producing an electric guitar body in stone, creating a playable “Stone Electric Guitar.” Capable of turning almost any non-living object into stone form.
・Able to produce abstract stone sculptures upon request, including commissioned works such as entrance sculptures and flower vases delivered to Toyota Home.
・モチーフをもとに、リアルに石を彫刻(模刻)するのが得意です。現在、エレキギターのボディを石で制作して、石から音がでる「石エレキギター」を制作しています。生き物以外でしたら何でも石化できます。
・要望にそった抽象彫刻も制作できます。
トヨタホームに納めた抽象彫刻(玄関前オブジェ・花器)などがあります。

  • Co-created the “Stone Guitar” with Mr. Miyazaki, Woodworking Specialist at Kanazawa College of Art; organized its exhibition and live performance, with works also available for sale
