Overview
KOKE POUF is a sculptural pouf developed within the KOGEI+ project.
While “pouf” defines the base structure, each piece evolves into a distinct work through variations in form, color, and pattern.
Positioned between furniture and art, it introduces a soft yet structured presence into space.
コケプーフは、KOGEI+プロジェクトの中で開発されたオブジェにもなるプーフです。
プーフという基本構造を持ちながら、デザインによって名称や造形が変化し、それぞれが個別の作品として展開されます。
家具とアートの中間に位置する存在として、空間に柔らかくも構造的な存在感をもたらします。
Concept
The work explores the coexistence of softness and structure.
By combining rigid internal materials with tactile textile surfaces,
KOKE POUF redefines the relationship between comfort, form, and spatial presence.
It is not only an object to be used, but also one that subtly transforms the atmosphere of a space.
コケをモチーフに柔らかさや豊かさをテーマとし、硬質な内部構造と触覚的なテキスタイルを組み合わせることで、快適性・造形・空間性の関係を再定義します。
単なる家具ではなく、空間の質を静かに変化させる存在として設計されています。
Form & Function
The tufted pouf can be freely shaped through made-to-order production.
It functions as a stool, footrest, or light-use side table.
Its compact scale and soft presence allow it to adapt seamlessly to various environments,
from residential spaces to hospitality settings.
タフティング仕上げのプーフは、オーダーメイドにより自由なフォルムへと展開可能です。スツールとしてはもちろん、フットレストやサイドテーブルとしてもお使いいただけます。
コンパクトなサイズと柔らかな質感により、住宅空間からホテル・ラウンジまで幅広く対応します。
Material & Structure
The internal structure is composed of FRP (fiber-reinforced plastic),
providing a rigid and stable core.
A tufted wool surface is applied over this structure,
maintaining the sculptural form while introducing a rich textile expression.
中材にはFRP樹脂を採用し、立体を安定的に支える硬質な構造としています。その上からタフティングカバーを施すことで、造形を美しく保ちながら、テキスタイルの豊かな表情を生み出します。
Customization
Each piece is individually crafted by artists,
with colors, patterns, and forms tailored to the client’s space.
This allows KOKE POUF to introduce a subtle yet distinctive character into its environment.
